You have assumed a body to be in form. And through that form and personality, one moves on the planet to do their contracted work. But the role one plays, does not matter in the grand scheme of all that is.  

The role of each person on Earth is to return home to the heavenly Creator. 

At any time, all can be gone - jobs, home, health, physical features, friends, environments - all can and will meet an end, as nothing lasts forever. Nothing except the peace, love, and sanctuary that is the Return to Home and God."
